This robust study (with over 66,000 participants), published in Hypertension, suggests a highly translatable, physiologic connection. Sleep difficulties can lead to a chain of events that can result in hypertension. Although more research on men and non-binary individuals is in orderā€¦ it begs the importance of early screening in anyone with sleeping difficulties.
