In order to discover nursing source of burnout, MIT Sloan leveraged AI to analyze over 150,000 nurse reviews on Glassdoor. They scientifically ranked 200 of the US’ largest hospital systems using standard deviation scores and we have questions. Not only regarding AI but we want to know if the nurse satisfaction scores correlate with patient safety outcomes and satisfaction metrics! QI project anyone?! 🤓 🤔

PSA. According to the CDC a popular weight loss supplement labeled at Tejocote Root has been found to substituted with yellow oleander, a plant known to be beautiful but deadly.

Obesity linked to worse menopause symptoms

A recent pilot has disappointing results revealing that a BMI over 30 may have significant consequences when it comes to more severe menopause symptoms. Worse, they may be less responsive to hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Is menopause ruining your career?

A recent Canadian survey, presented at the Menopause Society reports peri-menopause and peri-menopause were reported to have a negative on women's work. From aging stigma, perceived as "past their prime" to work performance altered by brain fog and vasomotor symptoms and fatigue. There is room for further studies here, not to mention the need for advocacy!
